Wk 1st March 2021
Hi everyone, it is so lovely to be able to say that this is the last week of our current online learning and that we will all be back together next Monday. The children and staff in school, have all missed their friends and even though we have been in every day, it hasn't quite been the same. We miss the children's chatter, stories, smiles and laughter. Although it will be nearly 11 weeks since the last time they were in the building, we need you to know that it is the same as you left it. We understand that there will be some anxieties about coming back, but we want both children and grown ups to know that Miss Jarvis and myself will be here with our biggest smiles, tissues and understanding ears. In addition, to this, we are both extremely excited to see you all. Till then, please don't hesitate to get in touch if you need anything.
1 week and counting....
It is important for children to be reading at home with a grown up. This allows them to use their letter recognition and phonics as well as it being a lovely time for them to enjoy quiet time with you. Our books are levelled so that children can use and apply the sounds they are working at. The questions asked (where the bug symbol appears), allows children to develop their reader skills which are vital to understanding the books that they are reading. If you are having trouble logging on, please let me know. https://www.activelearnprimary.co.uk/login.php?c=0
