QUOTE OF THE DAY
Hello Turing Class!
See the table below for today’s learning.
Just a reminder that it is really important that you continue to read and practise the times tables every day. I know this is not always in the table but this must be done daily.
Remember if you don’t have a home learning pack you will need to complete the work in your own notebook or on a piece of paper.
If you have any learning-related questions email me on firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also send me pictures of your learning or things you have been doing whilst at home – I will be putting these on the website.
LI: To work out missing angles in quadrilaterals.
Write the date, Roman numeral date and the LI in your maths home learning book (or on paper if you do not have a home learning pack).
Today, you will be revisiting 2D shapes and angles within quadrilaterals.
I would like you go through the PowerPoint before answering today’s questions.
Answer all the questions on the worksheet.
There is also an extension and a challenge worksheet.
LI: To identify and use nouns and pronouns.
Write the long date and the LI in you literacy home learning book or on a piece of paper.
Today, you are going to be using BBC bitesize to recap on nouns and pronouns. The link below will take you directly to today’s learning on the BBC bitesize website. Following the learning then complete the activities in your book.
I have put activity 3 in the resource section. Choose the correct worksheet.
red = 1 star
blue = 2 stars
gold = 3 stars
LI: To describe food eaten by Maya people.
Turn to the back of your literacy home learning book and write the long date and LI.
Today’s lesson will be about learning the different food Maya people ate.
Your first task is to read through the PowerPoint in the resource section.
Once you have gone through the information, complete the ‘Corn Vs Chocolate’ activity which is explained in the PowerPoint.
I would love to see some of your learning. So, if you can, send it to the class email and I can upload it to our home learning page for your friends to see.
I would like you to practise the times tables using TT Rockstars or hit the button if you prefer.
We will be doing another test on Thursday to see if you can beat your previous scores.
I have put the TT Rockstars grid in the resource section just in case you would like to practise using the grid.
You can send your completed learning to the class email for it to be marked and to receive feedback.
