QUOTE OF THE DAY
Good morning everyone!
See the table below for today’s learning.
Just a reminder that it is really important that you continue to read and practise the times tables every day. I know this is not always in the table but this must be done daily.
Remember if you don’t have a home learning pack you will need to complete the work in your own notebook or on a piece of paper.
If you have any learning-related questions email me on firstname.lastname@example.org. I would be really good to see some of your learning so if an adult allows you to, you can send me pictures of your learning or things you have been doing whilst at home – I will be putting these on the website.

Today, you will be revisiting area and calculating the area of
squares and rectangles.
I would like you go through the information on the BBC Bitesize
website about calculating area. The link below will take you

There is also a PowerPoint in the resource section for you to have a practise before completing the activity.

Today, you are going to be using BBC bitesize to recap on verbs and modal verbs. The link below will take you directly to today’s learning on the BBC bitesize website. Following the learning then complete the activities in your book.
I have put activity 3 in the resource section. I would like you to
complete at least two of the worksheets in the booklet.
LI: To understand how human intervention effects evolution.
Turn to the back of your literacy book and write the long date and LI.
Today, you are going to build on your knowledge of evolution and the effect human interventions have on evolution.
Your first task is to go through the PowerPoint (found in the resource section).
Once you have gone through the PowerPoint, your main activity is to complete the ‘Selective and Cross Breeding’ activity using the cards in the resource section.
You can draw the pictures or cut them out and stick them in if you want to but don’t have to.
Practise this week’s spellings in your spelling book or your literacy home learning book.
You can send your completed learning to the class email for it to be marked and to receive feedback.
