Today we are revising how to multiply 2 digit numbers by 1 digit numbers. 

 

For example, to complete:

 

24x 6

 

We would multiply 20x6 = 120 (we know 2x6 = 12, so 20x6 = 120 (10 times bigger) ) 

We would then multiply 4x6 = 24

Then we would add the answers together 120+24 = 144.
