SATs
What are SATs?
SATs are the Standardised Assessment Tests that are given to children at the end of Key Stage 2. The children are tested on all their knowledge they have learnt from Reception to Year 6.
When do SATs take place?
The SATs papers will be taking place from Monday 12th May until Thursday 15th May.
Here are which paper will be on each day.
Monday 12th May - Spelling, punctuation and grammar paper 1
Spelling, punctuation and grammar paper 2
Tuesday 13th May- Reading paper
Wednesday 14th May - Maths paper 1 - Arithmetic
Maths paper 2 - Reasoning
Thursday 15th May - Maths paper 3 - Reasoning
What tests will my child do?
The SATs papers consist of:
> Spelling, punctuation and grammar (paper 1: Grammar/ Punctuation/ Spelling)
> Spelling, punctuation and grammar (paper 2: Spelling test)
> English Reading
> Maths (paper 1: Arithmetic)
> Maths (paper 2: Reasoning)
> Maths (paper 3: Reasoning)
