World Book Day 2025
Turing World Book Day
Turing class had an exciting day filled with lot of amazing activities throughout the day to celebrate World Book Day. We started our day making book recommendations for each other on padlet, based on books we have read and enjoyed. Then we watched some videos of McGrammar rapping to various book, which inspired us to create our own raps to different books. As it was lovely and sunny outside, we went out to practice our raps. After break Turing class went to Lowry where the children buddied up with each other and shared some of their favourite books with each other. Turing then shared their raps that they created earlier with Lowry and Stephenson, which was a lovely experience for all the children. In the afternoon, Turing then created their own books linking to animals they saw at Chester Zoo last week. The books created are beautiful and amazing to read.
