Just a reminder that year 4 will be taking the Government times tables test in June, so please practise regularly with them, to help their confidence, and recall speed. There is a practise test on www.timestables.co.uk that you can access free with your child. This also has practise activities and games for any tables that your child may be struggling with. There will be questions on 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 times tables.
Please ensure you are reading most nights for at least 10 minutes. This is so important and this will help your learning so much.
Each week, the children will have a spelling list to practise at home based on the spelling rules they are learning in school. This will be uploaded here each week. We will complete an informal test every Thursday.
Spellings for Thursday 19th May - the prefix bi- meaning two.
Spend a little time practising your Year 3/4 Statutory word list on Spelling Shed. Aim to do around 10 minutes 3x per week.
We are working hard now to recall ALL times tables up to 12x12. Please use the link below to help practise your timetables.
Don't forget to practise division facts too.
Spend some time learning your knowledge organiser. This term we are learning about electricity. Focus on a section or two each week. Ask a family member to quiz you on your knowledge organiser.
