Welcome to Summer term in Brierley Class. 

We are looking forward to sharing some fantastic learning about The Ancient Shang Dynasty of China as our focus on World History, during the first half of Summer term. Our Knowledge Organiser for this interesting topic is on our class page (scroll down to the bottom of the page). Year 3 will be engaging in learning about plants, whilst year 4 will learn about living things and their habitats, as well as sound. There are also Knowledge Organisers for both year groups on this page for you to share with your child at home. 

Just a reminder that year 4 will be taking the Government times tables test in June, so please practise regularly with them, to help their confidence, and recall speed. There is a practise test on www.timestables.co.uk that you can access free with your child. This also has practise activities and games for any tables that your child may be struggling with. there will be questions on 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 times tables.
