Safeguarding

Key Roles

The Designated Leads for Safeguarding at Woodhouses VC Primary are Mrs. Helen Woodward (Executive Headteacher) and Mr Neil Mack (Safeguarding Lead)

The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads at Woodhouses are Mrs Carter (Deputy  Headteacher) and Mrs Mulligan (EYFS and KS Lead)

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone's business. Everyone who comes into contact with our children and their families and carers has a role to play. At Woodhouses  we have a committed safeguarding team who work hard to ensure that the safety of our children remains a high priority. We have clear roles and responsibilities that we execute every day. We actively encourage concerns to be raised so that they can be dealt with at the earliest opportunity.

We always ensure that we keep an eye local and national changes that could affect safeguarding procedures in school. The whole school community receives regular updates and a programme of training to ensure they are fully equipped to deal with all matters related to safeguarding.
