Y5/6 Athletics Event 27.11.25 

Our Year 5/6 pupils took the Indoor Sports Athletics by storm yesterday, securing an incredible first-place victory! After competing in a wide range of field events and finishing strong in both individual and relay races, they earned their well-deserved spot in next week’s finals. Our children are truly proving themselves to be among the strongest and fastest in Oldham- an amazing achievement for a small church school in the heart of Failsworth. We’re not to be doubted!

Woodhouses proudly attended the Oldham Schools’ Year 3/4 Indoor Athletics event, and our incredible team represented the school with confidence, determination and true sportsmanship. The children gave their absolute best in every discipline, finishing 1st overall and securing a place in the finals. They shone in the relay events, javelin, long jump and speed bounce - winning gold in every event, including the relay sprints. Their teamwork, effort and enthusiasm were inspiring to watch. We are so proud of each and every one of them. Go Woodhouses!
