Welcome to Summer term in Brierley Class. 

We are looking forward to sharing some fantastic learning about Where our food comes from, which will develop chilren's understanding of climate and World map skills. We will also consider how climate change may affect food production. Our Knowledge Organiser for this interesting topic is on our class page (scroll down to the bottom of the page). Year 3 will be continuing their learning about plants, whilst year 4 will learn about living things and their habitats. There are also Knowledge Organisers for both year groups on this page for you to share with your child at home. 

Just a reminder that year 4 will be taking the Government times tables test in June, so please practise regularly with them, to help their confidence, and recall speed. There is a practise test on www.timestables.co.uk that you can access free with your child. This also has practise activities and games for any tables that your child may be struggling with. there will be questions on 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 times tables.
